In an effort to boost awareness of its wireless business and create an edge up on the competition, Radio Shack is knocking $50 off all iPhone handsets and offering trade-in incentives that could net customers a brand new iPhone 4 for as low as $25.

Halo Reach: Noble Map pack Review

Even though the Halo Reach popularity has had a slight drop off, the first map pack for Halo Reach has given the Halo community a shot in the arm well needed. Apologies for the late review I had planned on just giving impressions, but I found myself  loving them and sinking more time into these maps than I anticipated. I also wanted to play multiple sessions, with multiple game-types to really test the balance of game play for each map, so with out further adieu here’s the review.

Get Rewarded with Xbox Live

Some may or may not remember before the Xbox 360 launched Microsoft announced that the achievement system and your gamer score would work as a platform for gaining points, games, or content from xbox live. Well, 5 years, a test pilot (about one year ago) and a $10 price increase later we have the Xbox live Rewards Program.

Delightful Downloadable Deals

Like many other gamers and geek aficionados I’ve had the “wait & see” mentality concerning buying DLC, games, and movies this year. It seems as though everything gets replaced, sequalized, or clearance so quickly there is no need or advantage to purchase early (unless you have a special interest in something, like Mass Effect lol). Well due to Thanksgiving weekend once again Microsoft and Sony are slashing the pricing on a lot of there digital content which will all be offered good through November 29th.

The End: The Incredible Hulk

When I first stumbled upon the comic series The End I was given a copy of The Punisher’s version. This turn into an obsessive and curious intent  to know how some of my favorite marvel characters meet their end. One unlikely hero (in my personal taste) stood out amongst the rest was that Incredible Hulk.

Mass Effect 2: PS3 details, so far…

Back when Mass effect 2 was first announced for the PS3 I was overjoyed that all of the Playstation fan-boys would finally be able to experience this incredible space action-drama, and stop bashing it because they didn’t have it.

Gamers, get off the controller crutch

In light of the recent motion gaming releases such as the Sony Playstation’s Move and Microsofts Xbox Kinect the internets have been set a-blaze in regards to whether or not these pieces of technology are the next  push forward in interactive gaming. As Geeks, and its culture alike you would think we would want a more innovative step towards total immersion, yeah…. not so much.

Halo Reach Max Rank cap lifted

Not to long ago it was posted on Bungie.net that once the Halo Reach community reached (no pun intended) 117 million daily/weekly challenges completed, that the max rank cap would be lifted. It was reported that sometime in the month of November Bungie would remove the cap that shows Max rank once you obtain the rank of Lt. colonel grade 3. Some have endlessly been watching the ticker on bungie.net that has be quickly approaching the finish line. Well Halo fans the wait is over

What to watch?

Today with the level of access to TV, movies, and DLC. I still find myself flipping channels, scrolling endlessly through my Netflix instant queue, or trolling on Hulu for somthing compelling, interesting, or even heartfelt to watch. Thankfully due to the social prowess of Twitter, and the ever reliable information super highway. I was able to snag a couple of recommendations, so just thought I’d pass on the fruits of my labor.
