Prey 2 Still Coming, Just Not This Year
So, turns out the rumors weren’t quite right. When word started circulating that Prey 2 had been cancelled, I got pretty bummed. I’d heard great things, and the idea of being an alien bounty hunter seemed really awesome. But, it turns out that the rumor mill was mistaken. Bethesda has come out today with a blog post stating that Prey 2 is still in development. However, the game has apparently “not progressed satisfactorily this past year,” so the game has been pushed back to 2013. While this is not a great sign, at least the game hasn’t been cancelled outright, and Bethesda is apparently willing to invest more time in order to improve the product. However, with no mention of developer Human Head Studios in the blog post, I’m curious as to whether or not they’re still attached to the project, or if Bethesda has chosen to pass this project on to another developer. If that’s the case, I’ll be very interested to see which elements of the game get changed with a new team at the helm. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Now You Can Yell FUS ROH DAH and Something Happens
Bethesda has announced that a patch will be forthcoming for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, it will be adding Kinect support. Now you can continue yelling FUS ROH DAH at your screen (we all know you do) but now it will do something. A full list of the 200+ commands will be released this week. You’ll need print out just to remember them all. What’s faster reading a piece of paper to find what the map command is, or just pressing the back button?

Amazon Instant Video Comes to PS3
Great news for Playstation 3 owners. Toady they receive the ability to watch Amazon Instant Videos. If you have Amazon Prime and a PS3 you are probably very excited. If you don’t have Prime you still should be excited. Everyday Amazon has a video deal of the day on their video on demand service. Today’s deal is Rise of the Planet of the Apes for  $0.99. I for one have been looking forward to one of the consoles to get Amazon Instant Video because of the great daily video deals. Amazon Prime is only $79 a year and allows you to have free 2 day shipping, access to 17,000 Movies and TV Shows, and much more. Now that you can watch the Amazon videos on PS3 Amazon Prime is starting to look even better.
