Due to an unexpected injury Friday night (I pulled a muscle in my neck that turned me into an invalid for two days) I’m a bit late in getting these rather awesome unicorn meat recipes up for you to vote on. But better late than never!!

The way voting will work is you can read over the entries below. They’re numbered for your voting ease. When you’re ready to cast your vote, email me with the subject “Unicorn Vote” and the number of your favorite entry in the body of the email. Since I was out of commission for two days I’ll let voting go till midnight tonight (central time). Tomorrow morning I’ll announce the winner!

1. Mythical ULT
8 slices Unicorn bacon
8 slices bread, toasted
1/4 cup Griffin Blood
1/4 cup cream cheese made from Loch Ness
4 lettuce leaves
4 slices of killer tomatoes
Directions
Place the unicorn bacon in a large, deep skillet, and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain the unicorn bacon slices on a paper towel-lined plate.
Spread the griffin blood on 4 slices of toasted bread and the Nessie cream cheese on the remaining 4 slices. Arrange a lettuce leaf, killer tomato slices, and two pieces of unicorn bacon on top of 4 slices of bread and top with the remaining slices.
Serve with a side of Wookie chips for an excellent treat

2. Charlie the Unicorn’s 3 Alarm Chili
Ingredients
1 can unicorn meat1/4 onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 1/4 cups tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon essence of leopluradon
1/2 (8 ounce) jar salsa (hot)
3 jalapeno peppers chopped
1 habanero pepper chopped
2 tablespoons unicorn chili seasoning mix
1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans
Directions
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the unicorn meat and the onion and sauté for 10 minutes, or until meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain grease, if desired.
Add the ground black pepper, garlic salt, tomato sauce, salsa, essence of leopluradon, peppers, unicorn chili seasoning mix and kidney beans. Mix well, reduce heat to low and simmer for at least an hour.

3. Unicorn Tartare
2 teaspoons brined capers
3 teaspoons Dijon mustard(pardon me do you have any gray poupon
2 large phoenix egg yolks
10 ounces unicorn tenderloin, cut into small dice, covered, and refrigerated
2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley leaves
4 teaspoons olive oil(oil not woman please note)
3 dashes hot sauce
4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
Directions
Combine  capers, and mustard in a nonreactive bowl. Using a fork or the back of a spoon, mash ingredients until evenly combined; mix in phoenix egg yolks.
Use a rubber spatula to fold remaining ingredients into mustard mixture until thoroughly combined. Season well with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve immediately with toast points or french fries.
