Good ‘cast guys.
The lack of crowds at Verizon isn’t a huge surprise. Primarily because the Apple faithful know it will not be long before they iPhone 5 is announced. Most of them have an iPhone 4 (or 3GS) already, no need to jump now. Second, Verizon is much more of an online retailer. My last two Verizon phones were purchased online and the online pre-orders for the iPhone 4 were sold out in under 12 hours. When the iPhone 5 comes out is when we’ll see the real test of whether Android and WinPhone 7 have hurt the iPhone.
I’ve not seen the Superman/Shazam movie but just a few comments from your discussion. One of my favorite comic miniseries was Kingdom Come by Mark Waid and Alex Ross. It’s a DC Elseworlds kind of story set in the near future when the second generation of heroes are now running the show. Spectre plays a large part in the series as does Captain Marvel, if only later for him. One thing I like so much about the series is it does capture the essence of so many DC characters including these two.
I’ve got a stack of movies to watch but if I get the chance I’ll definitely give this one a look.
