Animes I’m Looking Forward to This Fall
These are some of this falls animes that I’m looking forward to watching in no particular order
Tokyo Ravens
In the “Great Disaster,” Japan has been thrown into chaos by onmyouji (a kind of magician). Harutora Tsuchimikado was born into an onmyouji family, but has no power whatsoever. His childhood friend Natsume (another member of the Tsuchimikado family) appears to him one day to take him up the promise he made long ago to become her shikigami (familiar). A battle between onmyouji is about to begin. <soure: ANN>
Where I’m watching it: Funimation airing on Tuesdays
My Thoughts after the first episode: I don’t know if I like it I’ll need to watch a couple more episodes
Outbreak Company
Having a light novel author father and an eroge (erotic) illustrator mother, Kanou Shinichi is a thoroughbred otaku. However he does not have any special power except for his broad knowledge, sharp insight, and impeccable instinct about “MOE” and its products, from manga to anime to games to light novel to figures. One day he found himself transported to a fantasy world where elves live and dragons fly. And he is given a task—not to fight monster or embark on a quest, but to enhance cultural exchange by becoming a “moe missionary” in this fantasy world! He meets a palace guard who has a bit of fujoshi taste, a half-elf maid, and the empress who is a little girl. He comes up with the idea of building a school. At first it runs as a comedy but later there are serious matters that Shinichi needs to face: ethnic discrimination, social problems, conflict with neighboring countries, sabotage by opposition elements including Japanese government, etc. Can he overcome the obstacles, successfully bring “moe” culture to the fantasy world, and help the people there as well? <source: My Anime List>
Where I’m watching it: Crunchyroll airing on Saturdays
My Thoughts after the first episode: I can already tell this is going to be one of those animes that points out all the Japanese entertainment tropes. That’s ok. The first episode was pretty funny, I look forward to seeing more.
Pokemon Origins
Serving as a more faithful adaptation of the Pokémon Red and Blue games, the story follows a young boy named Red who begins a journey with his Pokémon partner, Charmander, as he seeks to capture all the known Pokémon in the Kanto region and become the Pokémon League Champion. Along the way he comes up against his rival, Blue (“Green” in Japan), various Pokémon Gym Leaders, and the nefarious crime organization, Team Rocket. <source: Wikipedia>
Where I’m watching it: Youtube I couldn’t wait any longer.
My Thoughts after the first episode: This was the Pokemon anime that we always wanted. I watched a fan subtitled version and it wasn’t perfect I did catch some errors. It was totally worth it. I can’t wait for the official version to come out.
Beyond the Boundary
One day high-school student Akihito Kanbara instinctively goes to save his fellow schoolmate, Mirai Kuriyama from committing suicide. Annoyed by his attempt, Mirai stabs Akihito from a sword formed out of her own blood and is shocked to discover that Akihito is an immortal “half-youmu”—the offspring of a supernatural creature called a youmu and a human. After learning that Mirai is a Spirit World Warrior and the last surviving member of her spirit hunting clan, their lives become intertwined as Akihito seeks to help Mirai gain the confidence to kill youmu so that she may stop attempting to kill him as practice. <source: Wikipedia>
Where I’m watching it: Crunchyroll airing Wednesdays
My Thoughs after the first episode: The first episode wasn’t very compelling I’ll give a couple more episodes.
Unbreakable Machine Doll
It is the early 20th century, and Raishin Akabane is a student puppeteer from Japan, who has come to the Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machine Arts in England to study the emerging field of Machinart: a combination of magic and technology with military applications. He is accompanied by a girl named Yaya, who is actually his Automaton: a living machine doll powered by magical circuits specialized in hand-to-hand combat. In the Academy, there is a combat tournament exclusive to the Top 100 students and their automata, to decide who shall be bestowed with the title of “Wiseman”, the greatest puppeteer. <source: ANN>
Where I’m watching it: Funimation airing Mondays
My thoughts after the first episode: better than expected. It was funny and had some good action. I like the art style, the characters have a very smooth look to them.
Strike the Blood
“The fourth true ancestor” is a legendarily strong vampire that shouldn’t exist. Accompanied by the 12 “gun-beasts,” this phantom vampire is said to have appeared in Japan. In order to find and kill this “fourth true ancestor,” the government and the Lion King Organization order the dispatch of attack mages called “sword-maidens.” For some reason an apprentice named Yukina Himeragi was chosen for the task. Wielding the strongest spiritual spear, Yukina comes to the special demon district Itokami City. There she encounters Kojou Akatsuki and learns the true nature of the “fourth true ancestor.” <source: ANN>
Where I’m Watching it: Crunchyroll airing Fridays
My Thoughts after the first episode: I rather enjoyed it. This anime seems like it’s going to be a good action anime for this fall’s lineup.
Walkure Romanze
Walkure Romanze’s story revolves around Takahiro Mizuno, a student studying at an academy with jousting as its main focus for sport. Takahiro acts as an advisor to the riders of the sport. Takahiro goes through each day tediously until the time of the annual competition draws near. Due to some odd circumstances, his childhood friend Mio Kisaki is enrolled into the competition. As she has never even rode a horse once in her life, Takahiro senses the fear in his friend and becomes Mio’s coach. <source: ANN>
Where I’m Watching it: Crunchyroll airing Sundays
My Thoughts after the  first episode: I didn’t really like the main character Takahiro that much. I did like Mio (I think the subtitle spelled it Miu) though. I liked the medieval vibe of it. I will continue with this one.
I Couldn’t Become A Hero, So I Reluctantly Decided To Get A Job
Raul had always wanted to be a hero, but the demon king was defeated, leading to the end of hero exams. He reluctantly took a job working at a small electronics store called Magic Shop Leon. His life is dull but busy until a new girl comes applying for a part time job. She’s the daughter of the defeated demon king. <source: ANN>

My Thoughts after the  first episode: I liked it. I reminded me a little of The Devil is a Part-timer. I look forward to seeing more.
Samurai Flamenco
Masayoshi Hazama has decided to become the superhero Samurai Flamenco in spite of having no special abilities or modifications. Hidenori Goto is a police officer who learns his secret identity by chance, which causes him all sorts of trouble. <source: ANN>
Where I’m Watching it: Crunchyroll airing Thursdays
My Thoughts after the first episode: From the description it reminded me a bit of Kick-ass. Well it was almost like Kick-ass in a sense that Masayoshi has the same amount of skill that Kick-ass did and he does indeed get his ass kicked.
My Mental Choices are Completely Interfering with my School Romantic Comedy
The story centers around Kanade Amakusa, a boy cursed with the mental power of “absolute multiple-choice”—a multiple-choice quiz will suddenly appear in his mind, and the choice he makes will become his reality. For example, he would have to choose between going nude from the waist up or the waist down in school. While in school, he is given another choice: 1) A beautiful girl will fall before him or 2) he will fall from the rooftop in female clothes. He chooses option 1, and a blonde girl named Chocolat falls before him.  <source: My Anime List>
Where I’m Watching it: Crunchyroll airing Wednesdays
My thoughts after the first episode: This looks like this is going to be a funny one. I’m not a fan on the art style on it though. I will definitely watch more.
Freezing Vibration
Second season of Freezing. Set in a slightly futuristic world where Earth has been invaded and is at war with aliens from another dimension called the Nova, the story follows the adventures of a Japanese boy named Kazuya Aoi who enrolls for training at a special school for genetically modified girls called Pandoras who battle the aliens, and their male partners, called Limiters, who use a special power called “freezing” to limit their opponent’s mobility. The protagonist makes the acquaintance of an unusual older girl named Bridgette L. Satellizer who appears to be the most powerful Pandora in her class, but has not yet chosen a male partner to be her Limiter, and in spite of the warnings of all his friends, he decides to be her Limiter. <source: ANN>
Where I’m Watching it: Funimation airing Mondays
My Thoughts after the first episode: This was a decent episode it was mostly setup for what could be a pretty kick-ass season two.
Valvrave the Liberator Season 2
Thanks to the development of the Dyson Sphere, The majority of the human populace lives in space. The Dorssia Military Federation, and the Atlantic Rim United States exist as major Military countries, while JOIR is a neutral principality, the story follows Haruto Tokishima as a normal boy going thru high school in T.C (True Calendar) year 71. This all changes when Haruto meets the humanoid weapon Valvrave <source: ANN>
Where I’m Watching it: Crunchyroll airing Fridays
My Thoughts after the first episode: The first episode was just a continuation from where season 1 left off. Nothing was answered in this episode. I am looking forward to more because I do like this space adventure with body-swapping vampires who control giant robots.
