Joseph Gordon-Levitt cast for The Dark Knight Rises

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been in a variety of movies in the last few years. Some of his well known roles were in Inception(so I’ve heard), G.I.Joe:The Rise of Cobra, and 500 days of Summer. You may also remember him from the hit show 3rd Rock from the Sun. Well looks like Mr. Gorden-Levitt will be in the highly anticipated movie The Dark Knight Rises. Since Christopher Nolan has worked with Levitt before I’m sure he has a perfect part picked out for him. Sadly it will be unknown to us for the time being. Lets just hope Levitt doesn’t become Robin.

I’m really hoping Nolan sticks by his “No Robin” statements. It still seems to be waaaay too early in Batman’s “career” to bring in a Robin.
I would love to see him as the Riddler or Mad Hatter. The latter would be extremely creepy if done right. 🙂
I think he would have been a great Riddler, but I am pretty sure Nolan said there would be no riddler. That makes sence – Nolan’s Riddler would probably be very close to Nolan’s Joker. Hatter would be interesting… it goes with the “no super powers” rule and is a nice contrast to Bane and Catwoman.
