I’ve been gaming since I was five. I got into online gaming about freshman year of high school. That lead me to finding online communities like TAG and the Gamercast Network. I live in central Indiana next to a corn field (go figure). I just got into comic books since we started the show so I’m still new to those. I like to sit down and watch entire seasons of shows in the fewest amount of sittings possible, nothing else matters during that time. I own a Xbox 360 and low grade gaming PC, my family owns a Wii so I do have that to play as well. I do also own a DS Lite but the only game I have for it is Pokemon: Heart Gold, what else do you need. That’s me in a nutshell.

I’m a Geek and Proud of it! Gaming since I was 3 and have been for the last 18 years.My favorite games are ones with good co-op. I love playing games with friend. I acted in High School and since I have had a better appreciation for Movies and Television.Love Music as well from Metal to Punk to Techno to R&B. I’m a big Tech Geek and Love my gadgets.Love comics as well. I live in Oklahoma and there isn’t much to do so I’m big into gaming,podcasting, and other hobbies that can keep me busy.I mainly play my 360, but I do own a PS3, DS,and iPod touch. I’m also a college student at the moment and loving every minute of it. I’m always online whether its through a computer or my android phone.Basically I just Like what I like.

What can I say when social networks, tweets, avatars, and gamer-score speak volumes these days. Been gaming since the days of Atari and Intellivision, but became completely passionate when I began to run and jump with that Italian plumber. Dibbled and dabbled in comics for a while, I really liked Spawn and the Amazing Spiderman in the early days until they got to the awful cloning series. I have always Loved to write since I was in grade school. Remember those pictures of stuff they would pass out at school and the teacher would say use your imagination and write a descriptive paper on what you think is happening, well i was the kid that wrote 5 pages. Really I guess there’s no one point in time when I became a geek i believe it was born from a culmination of experiences. Personally I am a man of faith, family and fun. Always up for a party chat movie or gaming session so if you need a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th I’m in.

Elf

I’m a 30 year old geek-girl who not only practices with a lightsaber bokken on a regular basis but still writes fanfiction (and I’m proud of both!). I’ve been a proud geek since I was little, happily calling myself a Trekkie and still loving Star Wars with a passion. My range of geeky love runs from horror (like Repo: The Genetic Opera and Oldboy) to silliness like cartoons and the new Alice in Wonderland and everything in between. While I’m somewhat behind on gaming technology (I only got my first PS2 a year ago) I’m a total tabletop RPG nerd and carry my dice bag with me everywhere. I’ve recently gotten into working geek conventions in various capacities and can say that I ran the first annual Race of the Tauntauns at Dragon*Con in 2010. When not randomly dressing as characters from various fandoms (including
painting myself green for Orion Slave Auctions) I write, play music and knit Jayne hats. If there’s geek to be found in something, I’ll be the one to dive right in.

I am a geek that has only come out of the geek closet in the last few years. Now that I’ve embraced my geekdom I love almost everything surrounding geek culture. However when I don’t like something I usually really don’t like it. I’m a fan of all things gaming related be it thegames themselves, twitter conversations about games or just general game industry news. I love all my consoles and am the kind of person who gets incredibly excited for new consolesuccessors.As many people know I am a fan of all things Pokémon, Doctor Who and Harry Potter. After all they are the best three media franchises of all time!As for my day to day life I am a student on the verge of going to University though I haven’t any idea what I want to do. Maybe I will use my Media class to actually make a film orsomething. Who knows!
